Cinemark Tinseltown Westchase to be demolished

Amid all of the talk about the futures of the River Oaks and Alabama theatres, recent reports indicate that even the new are not excempt from the wrecking ball. According to the Friday, October 19, 2007 issue of the Houston Business Journal ("Restaurant, movie complex make way for office buildings"), a contract is underway for real estate developer Simmons Vedder & Co. to purchase the Cinemark Tinseltown Westchase, located at the the Beltway and Richmond. The property will be cleared for construction of an office building.
